Recreation & Fitness Centers Help Woo Students

In November’s ALSC Fitness Bits we explored how collegiate locker rooms can be designed as a way to gain an advantage in securing recruits. In much the same way, state-of-the-art recreation and fitness centers can influence where students decide to attend college.

The new North Idaho College Student Wellness and Recreation Center opened its doors in August of 2017, providing a spacious, modern facility for students, faculty and staff. Prior to that time, NIC was one of the only colleges in the State that lacked a recreation center.
